Privacy Notice
This is the complete privacy notice for aveu.nl, the newsletter, contact and retail-partner applications, the partner environment and business orders.
Last updated: 8 August 2026
Who is responsible
The Dutch sole proprietorship NISH, also trading as AVEU, with registered address Zandbergstraat 63, 5555 XB Valkenswaard and Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 76241432, is the controller. Email privacy questions and requests to info@aveu.nl.
Website, contact and newsletter
When you visit the website, we process technical data such as your IP address and device and security data to deliver and protect it; our legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website. When you contact us or request a retailer, we use the details you submit to reply or take the requested step; our legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in communication. For the newsletter, we process your email address, language and signup evidence with your consent until you unsubscribe.
Retail partners and partner environment
For a retail-partner application or account, we process company, trade-register and VAT details, names, roles, business contact details, addresses and application or account status. We receive these details from you, your employer, an authorised colleague or sales agent, and public business registers. We use them to take steps at your request, manage the business relationship, verify authority and protect security. The legal bases are steps towards or performance of a contract, legal obligations and our legitimate interests in relationship management, security and fraud prevention. Required fields are necessary to process the application, access or service; without them we cannot do so.
Business orders and signing
For business orders, we process contact and authority details, order lines, prices, payment and delivery details, communications, complaints, verification and signing events, timestamps, and document and audit data. Sources are the business customer and its representatives, sales agents, public registers and relevant payment, delivery, email and security services. This is necessary to prepare and perform contracts, invoice, keep statutory records, protect product safety, prevent fraud and establish or defend legal claims. AVEU does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
How long we keep data
Ordinary content from completed or permanently failed emails is removed after 90 days. The exact acceptance email, attachment, headers and delivery record for an Accepted Order form part of the contract file and are retained with the Order and formation evidence for at least 7 years. Unconfirmed newsletter signups are deleted 30 days after the confirmation link expires; declined or withdrawn partner applications without a customer relationship after 12 months; and expired, failed, superseded or revoked unsigned signing requests after 30 days. Commission and accounting records follow the applicable fiscal period. Product-risk, complaint and corrective-action information remains available for 10 years where the GPSR requires it, and supply-chain traceability for 6 years. We do not ordinarily retain full identity-document copies. Other data is kept only while the purpose, a legal or retention duty, or a legal claim requires it.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email info@aveu.nl; we may ask for appropriate information to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
